Kay creates a safe place for people to explore and experience Yoga. Students are encouraged to work at their own level and listen to their bodies, knowing when to be challenged and when to rest. This is Yoga in action. Kay is passionate about sharing the benefits of Yoga. Asana and creative movement for the body, nourishing breath practices, Pranayama, to sooth the nervous system and calm the mind, Loving Kindness Meditation for the heart. This practice leaves you feeling refreshed, spacious and connected to the world around you.
Yoga has been present in Kay’s life for 30 years. Kay became a qualified Yoga teacher in 2006 after completing Kate Pell’s 600 hours Teacher Training in Brisbane. Astanga Yoga is where her journey began, years following that she studied and practiced Iyengar Yoga, Yoga Synergy with Simon Borg Olivier, Clive Sheridan, Yoga Therapy with Tamara James and Restorative Yoga with Donna Farhi and Judith Lasater. Inspired by these teachers and her students Kay continues to be curious in finding ease within the body and openness in the heart and mind.
Kay is available for private, personalised, therapeutic yoga sessions. They may be focused on rehabilitation, deep relaxation and or developing your personal practice.
